Dr. Adam W. Anz is an orthopedic surgeon fellowship trained in Sports Medicine who practices at the Andrews Institute in Pensacola, Florida. His clinical and research focus has settled on knee, shoulder, and hip injuries as well as the development of biologic treatments and refinement of knee surgical ligament repair/reconstructions. Research studies have included the biomechanic investigation of modern meniscal repair techniques, the use of 3T MRI to evaluate the maturing ACL reconstruction, optimization of stem cell harvest from patients, biologic enhancement of ACL reconstruction, and an FDA observed clinical trial involving stem cells and cartilage repair. Research funding has included industry support and government support from the State of Florida and the City of Gulf Breeze.
