Monday, October 21
Noosa Sunset River Cruise | 4:30 – 6:30 PM | Hastings Street Jetty at the Sofitel
Departing at 4:30 PM sharp and returning at 6:30 PM from the Hastings Street Jetty, located on
the riverside of the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort. A pleasant way to see the river, enjoy the
company along with drinks and nibbles. Add to your registration for US$50.00 per person.

Dinner Recommendations
Dinner on Monday night is not included in registration, please gather a group and explore the
many restaurants, eateries and food outlets along Hastings Street. Some of the more popular
restaurants may require a reservation, such as Bistro C, Sails, Season, Locale, and Bang Bang.
The Noosa Heads Surf Life Saving Club, at the southern end of Hastings Street, is a great place

Noosa National Park Hike |1:30 – 4:00 PM | Meet in Sofitel Lobby
Meet Peter Myers in the Sofitel lobby to depart at 1:30 PM for an easy and beautiful hike
into Noosa National Park to Hell’s Gates. Step into an oasis of jaw-dropping natural
beauty when you enter this expanse of protected green space. Stop in for a dip along the
way at one of the delightfully secluded bays and keep an eye out for turtles, dolphins, and
koalas. No registration required.

The attire is resort elegant. The cocktail reception begins at 7:00 PM, dinner seating is at 7:30 PM.
Registration for the Companion Program includes the Welcome Reception, Biennial Meeting

Noosa Beach Day
Noosa Main Beach is famous for its sheltered waters and perfect surf swimming conditions,
protected by the Noosa National Park Headland.
Wednesday, October 23
The Original Eumundi Markets
Arrange a taxi to one of Australia’s best art, craft and food markets, The Original Eumundi Markets
are open every Wednesday, 7:30am - 2pm. Here, you’ll meet the talented hands behind
handcrafted furniture, homewares, artworks, ceramics, cutting-edge fashion and jewelry. Have a
chat with the farmers and bakers who sell fresh produce and gourmet delights. And relax under
the beautiful trees as you indulge in a massage, have your palm read, listen to live local music
and watch the street performers.
Noosa National Park
The Noosa National Park,
just a short walk from Hastings Street, is home to koalas (there’s
often one high in the trees not far from the park entrance), wallabies, the protected brush turkey
and goanna. Look out to sea as you walk the coastal tracks and you might spot turtles as they
bob up for air, dolphins or whales (June to October).
