Professor Julian Feller is an orthopaedic surgeon and clinical researcher who specializes in knee surgery and practices as part of OrthoSport Victoria, based at Epworth Richmond in Melbourne, Australia. He has a long involvement with professional athletes in many sports, including the various codes of football but particularly Australian Rules Football, netball and basketball. He has a particular interest in anterior cruciate ligament injuries. Julian has a long involvement in clinical research and has more than 250 book chapter and peer review journal publications. He was recently identified as the most cited author in the top 100 publications from Australian orthopaedic surgeons. Julian presents regularly at international meetings. His main research focus is anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with particular reference to return to sport and re-injury. Julian is currently an Adjunct Professor in the School of Allied Health at La Trobe University, where he has collaborated for many years with Professor Kate Webster. Julian has served on the editorial boards of AJSM, OJSM, KSSTA, and Arthroscopy, and has been a regular reviewer for several other journals as well. He is currently an Associate Editor of the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine. Julian has been heavily involved in a number of orthopaedic organizations. He is the Past Chair of the Traveling Fellowship Committee of ISAKOS, and a member of the Membership Committee of the International Patellofemoral Study Group. He is a past President of the international ACL Study Group, past President and Secretary of the Australian Knee Society, and a past Board Member, Chairman of the Knee Committee and Program Chair of ISAKOS. Julian is also heavily involved in clinical governance at Epworth HealthCare and is the Director of the Musculoskeletal Clinical Institute.
