Prof. Dr. Christian Fink is a specialist in trauma surgery, sports traumatology, orthopaedics, and traumatology, and holds the Austrian Medical Chamber (ÖAK) diploma in sports medicine. Born in Gmunden, he completed his medical studies in Innsbruck and earned his doctorate in 1991 with a dissertation on cruciate ligament injuries. After obtaining his specialist qualification in 1998 and completing a research fellowship at Duke University, he achieved his habilitation in knee surgery. Prof. Fink is internationally recognized and, with more than 200 scientific publications and over 500 lectures worldwide, is considered one of the leading experts in the field of knee surgery and sports medicine.
