Kyle Anderson, MD

Dr Anderson has served as the team orthopaedic surgeon for the Detroit Lions for 24 seasons. He has also worked as Team Physician for the Detroit Tigers (99-06) and as Orthopaedic physician for the Detroit Red Wings (00 – 06). As an undergraduate student, he played football under Bo Schembechler at the University of Michigan. During residency training he worked with the physicians of the Chicago Bears (93-99), Chicago Cubs (97-8) and Chicago Blackhawks (94-8). As a fellow in Shoulder and Sports Medicine in New York, he worked with the physicians of the New York Giants (98-9) and New Yorks Mets (98-9). In academic practice, Dr Anderson has authored over 50 scientific research papers, 5 book chapters, and has presented research at over 90 regional, national and international scientific meetings. Dr Anderson is a native of Waterford MI and now practices in southeast Michigan.
